what accounting software do you use?

I am a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. I have experience with various accounting and enterprise systems such as Yardi, MAS90, Skyline, Quicken, Microsoft Money to name a few.

Do you know about excise taxes?

Yes, I file both Washington state and City business excise taxes either by paper or through FileLocal. I also file for other states as well. I encourage my clients to file online.

do you prepare federal income taxes?

I do not prepare federal tax returns. I will work with your Tax Preparer by sharing the information needed to file your Federal Tax Return.

I have my bookkeeping in excel and in a shoebox. Can you help?

Yes, I can! I have experience setting up books from scratch, working with Excel worksheets and importing into an accounting system.

I want to do my own bookkeeping. can you show me how?

After setting up your books, I offer training videos for future reference as well as one-on-one training at an hourly rate.

Do you know how to file payroll taxes?

Yes, I know how to file payroll taxes with the IRS - monthly or quarterly. I encourage clients to pay via the IRS via EFTPS.
